The original R8 model causes real sensation, because it is a true super car. This redesigned compact has a lot of improvements and more power from its 2.5-liter big engine that shares the TT RS and RS3 Sedan lines, good for 395 hp and 480 Nm of torque. All this power is channeled permanently to all four wheels, using a seven-speed automatic double-clutch transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h from the city in just 4.1 seconds, while the factory version of the current RS3 Sportback model can develop 250 km / h and 280 km / h when the electronic speed limit is removed. As for the first generation of the R8, it comes with a V8 engine with internal combustion and 4.2 liters of volume, good for 414 hp and 430 Nm of torque, while the 5.2 liter V10 engine is slightly added to the line later. For the second generation, the V8 was thrown out of the setup, while the German super car was only offered with the V10 unit based on the model we can see in the Gallardo car. On the other hand, this does not provide the ultimate answer to the question of which model is faster on the track, a regular R8 or a tuned version with a 450 hp RS3 model. The following video shows these two cars in the battle and power ratings.
