Tuner Brabus is still in 1988 introduced its prototype model 190E 3.6S. This tuner wanted to push the boundaries of the saloon car, which is creating a 190E had a seat at the rear, lower sound insulation, while under the hood hides great big 3.6 liter engine with six cylinders.  This car was a fantastic concept, but apparently, customers company Brabus, asked her to add airconditioner and rear seats in their models. Even the prototype turned into the Brabus 190E 3.6-24 when he returned to these elements. In 2008, two decades after the debut of a prototype model Lightweight, Sven Gram, Chief Marketing Officer of the tuner, announced that the company will produce a new unit. This car has been faithful right design concept, with only two seats, the benefits already been removed and the protective cage and kelvar tubs, among others.  The project was used as the donor 190E 2.6E model and has the original engine with six cylinders, base created with 3.6 or later redesigned and enlarged to 3.6 liters. This engine is owned 286 hp and 365 Nm of torque. Brabus claims that their model accelerates from 0 – 100 km / h in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 250 km / h.
